Grounds Maintenance Assistant Manager

Job Type: Full time year round. Job start date: Immediately

Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining sprinkler systems, landscaping and snow removal for all properties. Assists in ensuring that the quality of maintenance, repairs, and all the buildings grounds and systems that manage the grounds are kept at the expected standards of the Ownership of the resort and any other related parties. Must be able to work with a team as well as by themselves in a productive manner and able to track and log hours for themselves and staff. Assists in operational and safety training of staff.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist Manager in supervising and training staff
  • Daily maintenance of equipment including hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
  • Assist Manager in scheduling, tracking and logging hours
  • Maximizing time and equipment in all facets of job including but not limited to snow removal, plowing, mowing, weed removal, irrigation installation etc.

Maintenance and upkeep of work spaces, machinery and tools

Performs all other related duties as assigned or requested including obeying safety policies and procedures and attending safety trainings.

Job Requirements:

  • Some property maintenance experience in any of the following fields: Landscaping, Irrigation, Equipment Operations, Snow Removal
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Ability to work outside for long hours in variable weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be willing to work holidays, 5am mornings and some evenings.
  • This position requires a Background check and a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to keep track of hours for billing purposes and work well whether in a team or working independently.
  • Must have experience managing employees or other leadership experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
