Product Sales/ Scan Manager - FT - Year Round - Crested Butte, CO

Job Description:

The Product Sales and Service Manager at Crested Butte Mountain Resort will work closely with the full spectrum of guests that visit our amazing mountain. This is an opportunity to lead a team of more than 30 employees to provide excellent and efficient service to our guests and employees who are looking for any piece of our full menu of pass, ticket, and lesson products. PSS involves constant personal interactions as well as the need for the technical aptitude to be a super-user within a number of computer systems. This position includes active involvement with the Skier Services leadership team and our larger group of department managers. This is a critical role within the resort that allows for collaboration with many departments. The PSS manager has an excellent opportunity to positively affect the experience of many guests and employees.

Leads the overall operations of Product Sales and Services, which includes the sale of all ticket, pass, and adventure park and lesson products. Coordinates and manages all POS systems and the physical space that they are located. Works closely with the development of all available products. Hires, trains, schedules, coaches and leads the Products Sales and Service team.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the management of PSS, including staff and sales. Ensures the correct operating procedures are in place for accurate sales and accountability.
  • Works closely with Business Product Solutions on accurate creation of PSS products.
  • Develops and implements department training program for skier services staff including guest service and sales techniques.
  • Stays informed about customer survey responses and reviews them to create action plans for enhanced guest service delivery.
  • Provides training to all staff.
  • Schedules and assigns work.
  • Provides work direction and review.
  • Completes Time and Labor actions.
  • Completes performance reviews.
  • Responsible for hiring and termination.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of management experience is preferred.
  • Working weekends and Holidays in required.
  • Background in RPOS, Guest Connect or similar systems in preferred.
  • College Degree, preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
